"Should have read reviews before I bought these. I have had my French Countryside set since 1987 with a few replacements couple years back. The replacements plates I just ordered are NOT the same quality, color or weight of my ones made in Japan. In fact, one of the plates already has a hairline crack across the entire plate and it was not dropped or misused and has only been used less than 1 month. I will go search for original pieces and not buy new again!"

Those plates, cups and bowls were made in Japan and the craftsmanship was exceptional. The plate I received was made in china, and there was no craftsmanship in the making of this product. Is this even the same company? I will never buy another product from you again. So sad."
