"Mikasa Swirl Bone dinner plates (purchased at sale price) pros: great price for bone china, all 8 plates were uniform & level with no flaws, lovely simple pattern appropriate for everyday or holiday use, lightweight, slim profile allows for efficient storage. Cons: flat & slippery - the edges do not curve upward at all. I didn't think this would matter until my asparagus slid right off the plate into my lap! Also, would like them to be a bit thicker for durability."
