Dinner plates do not fit standard dishwasher!
"We have had the Swirl White stone dishes for years. Over time, the glaze has cracked so tried to replace with a new set of the Swirl Coupe. With the curled edges, the dinner plates are so thick that they don't fit/stand up straight in a standard dishwasher. This is NOT mentioned on the website. Tried to work with Customer Service to have them cover shipping to return because this was not disclosed on the website but they refused. It would have cost me $360 to return ship them (I bought 16 place settings), which was as much as I paid for them! And they don't make the large dinner White Swirl plates anymore so I have no use for them! They will be donated and I will not be purchasing Mikasa again."

Love the style but pieces are not available.
"We bought 12 piece settings in the swirl white coupe ironstone. I wanted the larger coffee cups but the cereal bowls that came with it are shallow and wide. We would have loved the smaller ones but it did not come with this set. I wish we could have picked the style of bowl. Wish the salt & pepper shaker style was wide at bottom and narrow at top. I want the white swirl ironstone sugar bowl but it is not a available. They do not know if it will ever be available. I do NOT want the china one."

Durable
"I have had my swirl set since 2011 or 2012. Some have chipped, about three I think, but not many and no marks. I think the chips might be from the dishwasher."
